Checking whether your content is copied or not?

Want to check whether your posts or articles are copied or not (from your blog/article)? If the answer is yes, so this post will help you a lot. Firstly if you want to check, visit the Google Blog Search home page, select some of the text and copy it on the search bar (To get best results from Google blog Search copy the text from two lines for example: “some text from the first line. Some text from the second line”) and press the search button. You will find the results from your site/blog, if there are other results from other sides, use WHOIS Lookup service to find detailed information about the owner of that website but I am sure he/she has set the Domain Privacy "ON" to keep his information unpublished however, you will get an email id similar to privacy-123456@domainprivacygroup.com which will forward your email to the administrator or owner of that website.

Effective way:

Putting big notices or warnings about not copying the content/article/post, does not works (most of the time). Google Alerts is a big community which finds the copy cats. You can create alerts with key phrases or sentences you are using in your content and Google will send you an email with the link to the website where that particular phrase/sentence is published "anywhere" on the internet.

Easy Solution, MOST IMPORTANT STEP!:

The most important step is to copyright your blog/website content and this is most important. Creative Commons is a free organization which lets bloggers, article writers, authors, publishers and educators to copyright their contnent and link to a detailed copyright page that can be used in the legal proceedings. To know more about this free service you can visit their official website or visit the FAQ's page where you will get answers to most common/frequent questions.
